At Fixtur (“we,” “our,” or “us”), we take the privacy of our organizers, referees, and athletes seriously. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect when you use the Fixtur website, applications, and courtside scoring tools, and how that information is stored, processed, and protected.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account Information: When you register as a tournament director, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials.
- Tournament Data: Tournament names, sports, dates, venue locations, category brackets, competitor names, partner names, seedings, and official match score history.
- Payment Data: Transactions are handled securely by our payment processor, Razorpay. Fixtur never sees, logs, or stores full card numbers, CVVs, or cardholder banking passwords. We receive only confirmation tokens, order IDs, payment IDs, and billing status from Razorpay.
- Technical Telemetry: Anonymized log files, browser agent versions, and device viewports to optimize courtside referee responsiveness.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following operational purposes:
- Generating tournament fixtures, seeds, round-robin pools, and playoff brackets.
- Broadcasting real-time live score updates from the referee HUD to spectator viewports and shareable bracket links.
- Processing single event pass purchases and verifying payment signatures.
- Preventing fraud, platform abuse, and unauthorized modifications to live match records.
- Providing customer support and technical troubleshooting.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
Fixtur utilizes modern browser storage (Local Storage and session cookies) to enable zero-latency offline-resilient refereeing, store tournament draft states, and preserve your login session. We do not sell tracking cookies to third-party ad networks.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with trusted third-party infrastructure providers that maintain strict confidentiality and data protection standards:
- Razorpay: Payment gateway processing for international credit/debit cards and domestic Indian payment methods.
- Supabase: Scalable PostgreSQL cloud database with encrypted row-level security.
- Vercel: Edge hosting and real-time API routes.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit between your browser and our servers. Access to production databases is strictly restricted to authenticated system components.
7. Your Data Rights & Deletion
You have the right to review, update, or request the deletion of your account and associated tournament data at any time. Organizers can delete draft tournaments or email us at privacy@fixtur.live to request permanent data erasure.
